HORC offers Free Computer and Internet access, Access to TASC Class, Job Listings, Information and Referral Services, Resume Preparation, Employment Assistance, Vocational Training Referral Information, Community Not-for Profit Agency Listings, Free Workshops and Seminars offered by professionals, On-site Human Services Professionals, Job Fairs and Recruitments.

Would you like to provide feedback on health programs in your community? Join the Community Consumer Advisory Council today!
The Community Consumer Advisory Council (Council) is an opportunity for community members, leaders, and health care providers to meet to talk about health programs in your neighborhood.
Make your voice heard!
Council members include:
People who have Medicaid or are uninsured and living in Suffolk County
Local community organizations and leaders
Health care leaders from Catholic Health Services, Northwell Health, and Stony Brook Medicine
When: Council meetings are held four times throughout the year
Time: 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Location: Suffolk Care Collaborative (SCC), 1383 Veterans Memorial Highway, Suite 8, Hauppauge, NY 11788, Large Conference Room

|Every Tuesday Veteran Peer Night||
“Where Veterans Come Together”
Tuesday night at the VAC is a Veteran community evening. The VAC (Veteran Activity Center) is located at 2184 Pond Road, Ronkonoma.
Either stop in to chat with other Veterans, watch TV, play a game of pool, break bread with us, or assist us as we always have activities that we accomplish for our Veteran outreach missions.
The food, personal care pantries and pet food are available all evening. Some weeks the group may go to outside activities, bowling, movies, adventure park, etc. so please check event each week, or call the VAC at leave a message at 631-615-2200
Please help us spread the word to Veterans, there is a place to go. Anything said in the VAC stays in the VAC & sometimes you just need to be around other Veterans.
No paperwork, no fees, no membership, completely confidential. Anything said here, stays here.
Doors open by 1830 hrs. (6:30 pm)
Chow, snacks, refreshments & food all available so come hungry

|Harmony Cafe's Monthly Luncheon||
Harmony Cafe hosts a monthly luncheon at noon on the second Wednesday of each month at our temporary location at the VFW Post 2913 on 32 Edwards Street in Patchogue, NY. We use a Pay-What-You-Can donation model. We have no prices on the menu, we have an suggested donation instead. Our lunches are two and half hours in length and includes live music. It is a social event meant to bring the community together, regardless of social status. We all deserve to have access to healthy food in environment that is free of judgement and stigma for all people.
We provide the basic need for food and community in a welcoming gathering place for all our community members, regardless of their means. Dining together and supporting one another in building friendships and a healthier community. No one is ever turned away for lack of funds.
